Poor Gloria! Kevin Schmidt will play an older version of suspected future gay, Noah Newman. The actor, who starred in the Cheaper by the Dozen franchises, begins airing on Aug. 13.

Film actor Danny Trejo (From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado) will intersect with Victor Newman in Mexico on Aug. 11.

Can’t get enough of Daniel Goddard (Cane)? Yep, I thought not. If you’re like me and you think Cane has impregnated you as well as Chloe, read this lengthy interview from Michael Fairman on all things Goddard and the Restless.

Pick up next week’s issue of Hello! Canada for an exclusive feature on the birthday party I helped throw for one of my dearest friends, Vivica A. Fox (ex-Stephanie; ex-Maya, Generations) at Toronto’s most glam club venue, Muzik. When I informed Fox her former co-star Kristoff St. John (Neil) scored his second Emmy Award this past June, she wanted me to pass along a message to the actor: “Congratulations; you deserve it! I miss working with you! All the best!” And for the record: Fox, whose new reality series, Glam God with Vivica A. Fox debuts at the end of the month on Citytv and VH-1, would be open to a short-term soap gig!

Beth Maitland (Traci) is back on Aug. 13. But does anyone care?

Several of former Y&R head writer and executive producer, Lynn Marie Latham’s cronies are still employed as writers, I am told. Whaaat?
